Breckenridge Lodging & Hospitality Named Company of the Year Breckenridge Lodging & Hospitality was honored as the Society of Government Meeting Planners Rocky Mountain Chapter's 2006 Company of the Year at the 17th Annual Awards Luncheon in Lakewood, Colorado. Breckenridge Director of Sales, Julia Gidney, CMP, was on hand to accept the award. "We are so pleased to have been recognized by the chapter," said Gidney. Breckenridge Lodging & Hospitality was selected over the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Center for the award. The Great Divide Lodge, one of the properties of Breckenridge Lodging & Hospitality, hosted the RMSGMP Fall Conference in September 2005. "It was a wonderful opportunity for members to experience an authentic mountain town like Breckenridge," said Gidney. Breckenridge Lodging & Hospitality is Vail Resorts' hotel division in Breckenridge, Colorado, managing three unique properties with 590 rooms and over 43,000 square feet of meeting space. The Village at Breckenridge, Mountain Thunder Lodge and Great Divide Lodge offer conference guests a wide variety of locations, amenities, accommodations, and facilities. All are serviced by a central reservations center and group sales department.
