The Village Hotel Policies

Resort Fee - Please note that, effective June 2, 2008, Vail Resorts Hospitality will begin packaging all resort service items under one daily Resort Fee, which will include parking, Internet access, and other services and amenities. The Village Hotel resort fee is $15 daily per room.

Check-in/Check-out - The Liftside building lobby on South Park Avenue is the front desk check-in area for The Village Hotel. Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is 11am. Luggage storage is available.

Children - The Village at Breckenridge, located just steps from Breckenridge’s ski school, child care and town activities, is an ideal spot for families. Crib rental and Children's Ski & Ride School reservations are available by advance request. Child care reservations may be made through the concierge.

Forms of Payment - We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, Diner's Club, money orders, personal checks, and cash for deposit and account settlement upon check-out. During your stay, purchases at shops and restaurants in The Village at Breckenridge and other Breckenridge Hospitality properties may be charged to your room.

Guest Activities - Sleigh rides, snowmobiling, airport and ground transportation, golf, and childcare are among the activities for which advance reservations are suggested and, in many instances, required; policies do vary. You can book your selected activities in advance by calling 970-547-5781 or 800-847-5445.

Insurance Program - Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances do arise that can cancel or interrupt your travel plans. Because of this, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance; it will help take the worry out of your vacation plans. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance pays for loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as death, injury of or illness to you, a family member, or a traveling companion. Pets - Dogs are allowed in the hotel with advance notification, and require a $30 nightly fee per dog and a $150 refundable damage deposit. Dog-friendly rooms are limited and require advance reservations.

Special Requests – We will make note of all preferences and requests for specific room locations, bedding, and unit numbers. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee such requests, but will make every effort to accommodate them. Rollaway beds may be requested at check-in for an additional fee.

Substitution of Comparable Accommodations - In the event of booking conflicts with homeowners, unforeseen maintenance requirements, or over-sale of specific unit types, The Village at Breckenridge reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations for the dates of the guest's stay, provided the guest is not charged a higher rate than the accommodation type originally requested.
